The amazing transparency of its calm blue
waters, makes it the ideal place for bathing,
diving, snorkelling and fishing. This beach
is the haven for international tourists, with
an excellent infrastructure, and a wide variety
of good restaurants.
History
The beach is named after a Portuguese colonist,
who used the beach as a defensive site against
attacks by pirates and indians.
How
to Get There
Situated between the Praias de Azedinha and
João Fernandinho. From the town centre,
follow the coast line along the picturesque
Orla Bardot until you arrive at Ossos. Here,
turn left at the crossroads and go straight
ahead for 300 mts.

can be rented at the beach.
